Privacy policy
Version of 20 October 2026. This policy follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data we process
Request form: name, phone, e-mail (optional), moving-from and moving-to address, moving date, floors, lift, rooms/volume, number of movers, comment and up to 5 photos.
Contact by phone, e-mail or WhatsApp: whatever you send us.
Technical data: IP address, date and time, page visited, browser, recorded automatically by the hosting server in log files. To prevent abuse, a hashed (pseudonymised) value of your IP address is also stored for a short time.
The website uses no analytics or advertising cookies and no tracking tools.
Purpose and legal basis
We use your data to answer your request, prepare a quote and carry out the move (contract or pre-contractual steps, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and for accounting and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)). Server logs and abuse protection are based on our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f)). We do not send advertising.
Recipients and processors
green.ch AG, Switzerland — website hosting and sending of the form e-mails.
Google (Gmail) — our mailbox that receives the requests. Google may also process data in the USA; Google is certified under the Swiss-U.S. / EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and uses standard contractual clauses.
WhatsApp (Meta) — only if you contact us via WhatsApp yourself.
We do not sell data and only share it otherwise where the law requires.
Retention
Requests that do not lead to a job are deleted no later than 12 months after the last contact. Data on completed jobs is kept as long as statutory retention rules require (usually 10 years). Photos are not stored on the website; they reach us only as e-mail attachments and are deleted together with the request.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, have it corrected or deleted, object to processing and receive your data. Write to rvmovech@gmail.com; we reply within 30 days. You may also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or the supervisory authority of your EU country of residence.
Security
The website is available only over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Only the people handling your request have access to it.
